June 2026 Market Report

Horse Sale

Crawford Livestock was in jeapordy of literally burning down two weeks before the June 26, 2026 sale due to the historic South Fork Fire, but that didn't stop the crowd of eager buyers filling the seats!

The Legend Buttes Horse Sale has crushed record after record thanks to the incredible consignors who brought unmatched quality and the buyers who appreciated it.

Sale totals equaled over 1 million dollars and sale averages increased drastically from past sales as well and a whopping 95% horses sold!

One of the most well-known horse's in the Tri-State area topped the sale at $37,000. "Jefe" AQHA CHEX RIMFIRE BULLET and Tanner Lembke have been loyal employees at CLM for almost a decade. He climbed to the high bid with action from buyers online, in-house, near and far. A one-in-a-million horse who is going to a great home!

Not to be outdone, Lot 20 was a sought after rope horse. Competitive in all levels and seasoned on the ranch, "Tex" JH SENSATIONAL TEX easily caught the attention of ranchers and ropers alike.
