Crissy is a wonderful red roan mare that has been used as a ranch horse with me for over a year and with the previous owner before myself. With great bloodlines, she is an athletic horse that is fun to ride with smooth and easy going movement. She is a very tough horse as I have taken her through on some long days in rough country. She is the kind that will trot along through sage brush or thick timber and never leave you wanting more. Crissy gets to do all aspects of ranch work including loading trucks with a flag, sorting steers and doctoring cattle. I almost always ride with 2 border collie dogs, but does not like when they jump on my leg, so be cautious around dogs. She's also not a fan of having her ears touched. Crissy was AI bred and foaled a very nice bay roan colt in 2020, so if you're looking for a broodmare, she would be an excellent choice. Crissy has great feet that normally don't require shoes, and is well mannered to her farrier. She is also a pretty easy keeper, as she lives on pasture and only gets just one handful of grain on the days that I ride her. This summer she has been used and been ridden very frequently and still has little fat pockets on her behind. Crissy would be a great addition to your family and I'm excited for her future.
