Pepper is a 10-year-old grey gelding, purchased at age 2 from Sinclair Performance Horses. He stands 15.3 hands and weighs 1,300 lbs. Pepper has extensive experience in the feedlot and on the ranch, including gathering, sorting, doctoring cows and calves, and dragging calves to the fire at brandings. He’s gentle, sound, and very cowy, with a big but controllable motor. He’s been used to head steers, competed in jackpot ropings, and turned back steers at the county fair. Best suited for an intermediate rider. Pepper needs to be shod at all times.
