"Jerry" is a home-raised gelding from one of the matriarchs to our breeding program. He is the last foal out of Olenas Gold Lynx. He is a spitting image of her. Conformationally correct, loaded with color and a disposition that is unmatched for a horse his age. Whether you are Barbie or Ken, this is the dreamhorse! The kind they make movies about and the one's we remember forever. He has, and always will be, gentle and kind. He is easy to handle, catch, saddle and ride right off. He was used all calving season to bring in heavy's in deep snow, ice or freezing cold. He is reliable to point where you need him to go and look good doing it. He has the right amount of whoa and go. He has been taken to a handful of brandings this spring and roped a few calves to doctor. He is proficient at getting gates, sorting cattle, salebarn riding and and gathering in rough country and even went Christmas Tree hunting in the mountains of Colorado. He also has a nice foundation moving off leg pressure, sidepassing, spinning, loping circles with nice lead departures and is learning a flying lead change. He is not finished, but well on his way. One thing you can always count on is he will be gentle and easy-going. He has a promising future, with more riding, as a family horse. He is a wonderful prospect for many disciplines.
