"Lucky" is a locally raised 5 year old gelding we have owned since before he was started. He was trained here on our ranch & has proven to be a reliable mount. He is capable of covering ground effectively at any gait & has significant outside miles. He is cowy and will really run to one to rope and doctor in the pasture. He has also been used in the mountains for ranch work, gathering cattle and packing. He has a sweet personality and is easy to catch with nice ground manners. He has been started tracking the sled and is lightly started on the heading side and is trotting through the barrels. He is well-broke, rides around correctly and has great body control. This young horse has the conformation to last many years and is young enough to continue his training into a big-time rodeo horse or continue to enjoy him on the ranch. His potential is endless and he has many successful siblings in a variety of disciplines.
